One of Hong Kong’s Leading Investment and Property Development Groups Explores Opportunities in Alatau City
The agreement was signed following a meeting between Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov and Dr. Peter Lee, Founder of Full Vision Capital. One of the key topics of discussion was the group’s potential participation in the development of Alatau City.
The parties explored opportunities for cooperation across a broad range of sectors, including sustainable urban development, renewable energy, transport infrastructure, and agribusiness. Priority areas include the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), the deployment of smart energy solutions, the development of energy storage systems, and the creation of modern urban infrastructure based on international best practices.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov emphasized that Kazakhstan remains committed to its green energy transition while creating favorable conditions for the development of high-tech industries. Alatau City, he noted, is well positioned to serve as a pilot platform for deploying innovative technologies and localizing advanced international expertise.
“The Government of Kazakhstan is committed to building long-term partnerships with leading international companies. Alatau City has the potential to become a pilot platform for localizing your group’s technologies and urban development expertise. The Government stands ready to provide all necessary support,” the Prime Minister said.
Additional opportunities for investors are provided by the Constitutional Law on the Special Legal Regime of Alatau City, which establishes dedicated regulatory mechanisms and a one-stop service model, ensuring a transparent, predictable, and investor-friendly environment for project implementation.
Dr. Peter Lee, Chairman and Managing Director of Henderson Land Development, thanked the Government of Kazakhstan for its openness and constructive dialogue and expressed strong interest in building a long-term partnership.
