Alatau City was presented as a next-generation digital city being developed as a territory of accelerated growth with advanced modern infrastructure. The project has already attracted interest from investors in Asia and the United States.

Kuwaiti businesses have traditionally shown strong interest in real estate and modern construction projects. Taking this into account, as well as Kuwait’s extensive experience in urban infrastructure development, the Kazakh side invited investors from the Gulf region to participate in the implementation of this ambitious project in Kazakhstan.

Representatives of National Bank of Kuwait - one of the Middle East’s leading financial institutions with assets exceeding $140 billion expressed interest in cooperation and readiness to consider investment opportunities in Kazakhstan.

Kuwaiti investors are expected to receive a more detailed presentation of Alatau City and its business opportunities in autumn 2026. During this period, a working visit by Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbayev to the State of Kuwait is planned, during which the Alatau City project and potential formats for investor participation will be presented and discussed.
